Industry-Leading Training Facilities

NSTA Central™ operates a purpose-built 3,000sqm training facility in West Footscray, Melbourne — designed to simulate real-world environments across multiple industries. No imagination required. We have it all.

✔ Scenario Village – A fully built training village featuring a bar, jewellery shop, hospital wardroom, TAB, aviation screening area, service station, convenience store and UTM 10-metre range. All areas are UTM (non-lethal ammunition) approved.

✔ Purpose-Built House & Apartment – Two fully furnished residential spaces built specifically for training scenarios. The house includes a full bathroom, 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining, kitchen and hallway. The apartment features a different layout with cavity slider doors, home office and laundry.

✔ Soft Fall Areas & Gym/Boxing Ring – Two large padded training areas with padded walls, plus a functional gym and boxing ring for defensive tactics, OSE training and first aid roleplay.

✔ 3 Large Classrooms – Fully equipped with XL whiteboards, projectors, screens and speakers. Segregated from each other to ensure no interruptions between sessions, plus an outdoor/indoor area.

✔ Transport & Training Vehicles – Full-size bus, cash-in-transit truck and scenario vehicles onsite, providing life-like settings for transport, security and CIT training.

How long do courses take to complete?+
Course duration varies by program. First Aid courses can be completed in a day, while qualifications like Certificate II/IV in Security may take several weeks depending on delivery and assessment scheduling. We’ll provide timetables during enrolment.
